I'm a senior designer, with a passion for soccer, coffee, and dumplings!

For 10+ years, I’ve worked for startups and companies like Apple, Invision, and Forex. My work has been featured in FastCo, and I’m responsible for the concept and design work of a TimeOut-featured restaurant.

As a senior designer I’ve worn multiple hats not only in graphic design, but in UI/UX design; Taking charge of wireframes, prototypes, visual assets, and much more. I strongly believe that research combined with an immersive iterative process that empathetically balances the user’s needs and business goals always produces the best results in design.

I’ve worked across multiple industries, and collaborated with both fortune 500 companies and start-ups a-like. I also have strong love for branding, and have always admired the works of designers such as David Airey.

Below are some of my favorite design reads that have helped me produce the best results thru-out the years within UX design and graphic design as well.

"Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever." - Mahatma Gandhi

I was born in beautiful Cuenca, Ecuador from an Ecuadorian father and an American mother. Having grown up in both South America and in the US, has given me a diverse perspective that allows me to adapt quickly to new environments given the nature of my multicultural upbringings.

I graduated from Universidad San Francisco de Quito, with a Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Design, and a minor in Music.

In my free time you can typically find me playing pick up soccer, or hanging out with my cat Pluto.

I’m a huge foodie, and I have always had a thing particularly for dumplings. So much so, that in 2017 I decided to open up my own dumpling business, which has been featured in prominent media outlets such as the New York Times, Thrillist and Time Out.

These days I enjoy collaborating across multiple mediums within design, both with other folks or independently.
